Practice success:

Eat close to a pound of various greens and vegetables every day.

Cook steel cut oats with different fruits for breakfast.

Enjoy a variety of legumes: mung beans, lentils, adzuki.

Top some of your meals with a fistful of nuts or seeds.

As a general rule drink only water.

Do not keep sweet drinks in the house.

Savor the first bite during every meal.

Relish good bread as a treat.

Develop a healthy relationship with food.

Practice mindful eating!

Gather to Cook:    

How often do you stress to cook alone... or not at all?

Imagine bringing people together to cook. 

Let cooking take center stage!

Plan on doing this frequently with family and friends.

Find yourself a very large bowl and two long handled spoons.

Invite friends to prepare a fun, delicious, and nutritious salad.

Assign each person to bring a chopping board, a knife, a container to take food home

and the various ingredients,

Plan about an hour and a half to enjoy chopping and conversation.

The calories in juice and other flavored liquids come exclusively from dissolved sugar.  Wouldn't you rather eat your calories ?  And wouldn't you like get most of your water from vegetables and fruits rather that from a plastic bottle?
